popopatrol asked: Any photos from mount airy?
Hi, there are over a million photographs in the collection, so only a very small number are currently digitized. I don’t see any for the general place “Mount Airy”, although some individual roads, houses, and other buildings may be digitized.
I searched for Mount Airy photographs on the MdHS website (http://www.mdhs.org) using keywords “Mount Airy” and “Mt. Airy” (sometimes it is not consistent) and came up with images that may be in the following collections:
PP66 Fowler Collection: http://www.mdhs.org/findingaid/mary-josephs-fowler-collection-pp66
PP41 Perine Collection: http://www.mdhs.org/findingaid/perine-collection-pp41
PP262 Artists’ Excursion Over the B&O Railroad: http://www.mdhs.org/findingaid/artists-excursion-over-baltimore-and-ohio-railroad-photograph-collection-pp262
I would also try searching through the Subject Vertical File: http://www.mdhs.org/findingaid/subject-vertical-file-svf-index
