The inventory list for PP179 The Great Baltimore Fire Photograph Collection is now available on the MdHS website. Using the link you can see a map of the Burnt District. The collection mostly consists of photographic prints but also includes negatives and periodicals, adding up to just over 700 items.
The Great Baltimore Fire of 1904 began on February 7 and destroyed 86 blocks of downtown Baltimore. I became fascinated by the photographs that showed the interior of a building after the fire.
