Photographs are part of MdHS's Special Collections Department, H. Furlong Baldwin Library.

Pearl Bailey (1918-1990) was an actress and singer who made her Broadway debut in 1946. Bailey’s title role in the all-African American production of Hello Dolly! in 1968 won her a Tony Award.
