Md. Historical Society Photographs

Starting in circa 1850, the Maryland Historical Society (MdHS) photographic collection contains well over one million items including daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, cartes-de-visite, albumen prints, salted paper prints, acetate negatives, and more. Photographs are part of MdHS's Special Collections Department, H. Furlong Baldwin Library.

Siobhan Hagan is donating her time and experience to preserve some of MdHS’s films by applying for preservation grants. The film pictured here has a note on it’s canister that indicates Walter Sondheim is featured in the film.
Like many other films in the collection, this film must be preserved on to a copy format (VHS, DVD, etc.) for public viewing.
